BUD/s Preparation
This course can be taken in part or in whole. If you want to take the entire 40 day course we recommend getting temporary local accommodations in the area as we are unable to provide stays beyond 5 days at a time.
Designed to help aspiring Navy SEAL candidates and those seeking to improve their physical conditioning prepare for the rigorous demands of Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/s) training. This course is structured around the essential fitness components required for BUD/s, focusing on swim techniques, endurance, strength, and overall mental toughness. Participants will work through a progressive regimen that mirrors key elements of Navy SEAL training, building confidence and competence in the water and on land.
Throughout the course, trainees will engage in swim intervals, including the Combat Side Stroke, fin training, timed running, and bodyweight exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups. These exercises are structured into circuits with timed rest periods to improve endurance and strength while promoting recovery. Our experienced instructors guide participants through each stage, offering feedback and motivation to ensure progress and peak performance.
We also include regular assessments, such as timed 500m swims, 1.5-mile runs, and 4-mile run intervals. These checkpoints allow participants to track their improvements and adjust their training strategies. With specialized recovery sessions built in, the BUD/s Preparation Training provides a balanced approach to prevent burnout and overtraining. This course will ensure that you are physically and mentally prepared to take on the challenges of BUD/s training, while also improving your confidence in open water.
Course Length
Our BUD/s Preparation Training course spans 8 comprehensive levels, with each level consisting of 5 detailed classes designed to build your endurance, strength, and mental resilience progressively. Each class targets specific elements of the training required for success in Navy SEAL BUD/s, ensuring participants develop both their physical conditioning and tactical skills in a structured and effective manner.
As you advance through the 8 levels, the intensity and complexity of the exercises increase. Each class focuses on key areas such as swimming techniques, long-distance running, bodyweight endurance exercises, and recovery strategies. Every level culminates in a performance assessment to ensure you are mastering the necessary skills to meet and exceed BUD/s standards.
This step-by-step approach allows participants to fully immerse themselves in training, with ample time to build on their progress.
